We are constantly changing the way we do things here at APOD, with this in mind we have now created a way that you can securely upload your ID within the APOD App to streamline the registration process.
To complete your membership application and get approved, you will need to provide proof of your defence service/connection and photo identification. You can do this in one of two ways:
Via the APOD App using the steps below, or by using this link: Upload Documents
- Log in to the APOD App.
- Tap the person icon at the top left corner of the home page.
- Select the "Upload Proof of Service" option and follow the steps
Acceptable Proof of Service Documents are as Follows:
- DVA Veteran Card
- Defence ID (Current serving Army, Navy, Airforce or Retired Member Card. Please note that Government Industry and APS ID Cards will not be considered as proof of service).
- Certificate of Enlistment/Discharge
- ADO Service Record
Acceptable Photo IDs are as Follows:
- Driver's License
- Passport
- ANY other government-issued photo ID.
